FMCSA company record
The company record identifies the registered motor carrier. Operating status describes the USDOT registration and should be reviewed separately from individual authority records.
Reported operation size
Power units are reported commercial vehicles; driver count is the carrier's reported driver total. Fleet size helps describe operational scale, but it is not a safety rating or underwriting determination.
Reported operations
Cargo classifications come from official FMCSA data and describe commodities the carrier reports handling. Operations and registrations can change over time.
MC, FF and MX records
Operating authority identifies specific federally authorized for-hire activities. A carrier may hold multiple authorities for different services. Required insurance filings are connected to authority and can affect whether an authority remains active.
Current regulatory records
FMCSA insurance filings document financial-responsibility forms submitted for regulated authority. Multiple filings may represent different forms, authorities or filing events; a filing is not the complete policy.
